This Tachyon video led to a location-based dead drop at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, California. The contents of the dead drop revealed information on Tachyon’s motives in investigating OpAphid, and also foreshadowed the Lonelygirl15 character Gemma’s future involvement in the crossover between LG15 and OpAphid.

The song featured in Mysteries of My Past is performed by the Suburban All-Stars. Jeff Gerstmann of the Suburban All-Stars helped OpAphid creator Glenn Rubenstein form the original incarnation of the band Headboard in 1995, as a hip-hop duo.

Coincidentally, Headboard performed their very first concert at the Phoenix Theater. It is located in downtown Petaluma, where Glenn Rubenstein grew up. This video features footage shot by Rubenstein around the venue and in nearby locations downtown, including shots taken from the top of a nearby parking garage.

Mysteries of My Past… Revealed: My Time in Suburbia’s entry on LGPedia has complete information on the dead drop this video led to, as well as the complete credit information and video trivia.
